I really enjoyed this movie... Right up my alley!! I LOVE weird and esoteric films, and it was also so fun to see the predictions of the future the filmmakers had! I ended up writing 2 pages in my journal just on my thoughts afterward but even then I don't think I did the film justice with them... Maybe I should write something better sometime

This was assigned reading for my english class, but I actually really enjoyed it! I'm so impressed with how Castillo was able to create such a detailed and layered story, and my appreciation for it has deepened with the knowledge of the history surrounding the novel and even the genre of latin american magical realism itself! My professor keeps telling me to become an english major...

If i'm going to be honest I went into this movie with medium expectations, as I haven't been a fan of markiplier since i was a child and there hasn't been the best track record of youtuber movies, but this was phenominal. Absolutely an incredible and immersive experience that I would 100% watch again!! This did make me want to play the game as well... I was vaugely interested when i came out but never picked it up. There's actually a VRchat port of the whole game that i want to try! I'll probrably buy it at the next steam sale if I can afford it too though
